Jessica L. Gibbs, CFP®
Vice President & Partner
“You only know whether you’re going in the right direction if you’ve thought about your destination.”
Jessica was inspired by a podcast to become a financial planner. At the time, she was working at the Brookings Institution as part of their fundraising team. Even though she enjoyed working with individuals on their philanthropic giving, Jessica decided that wealth management was a better way to build the type of long-term, advice-driven relationships she values. After completing Georgetown University’s Certificate in Financial Planning program, she joined the team at Monument in 2015 as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM.
Jessica was promoted to Director of Private Wealth Design in 2019 and named Vice President and Partner in 2021.
Jessica is proud to have completed the Ensemble Practice’s G2 Leadership Institute, which is a two-year professional development program designed to hone the leadership and business management skills of advisors preparing to take on ownership positions within their firms. She is also proud to be named a Forbes “Top Next Generation Financial Advisor” in 2017 and 2019, which she believes says a lot about Monument and the team’s dedication.
Jessica works with clients in all areas of Private Wealth Design, but especially enjoys discussing estate planning techniques, advising clients on how to effectively transfer their wealth and values to future generations, and helping clients achieve their philanthropic goals.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son—you can usually find her at the playground watching her son dig in the sand pit.
