Emilie is a big-picture, strategic thinker who thrives on using creative marketing and communications to connect with Monument’s clients and community. Emilie joined the team in 2022 and was immediately attracted to the company’s leadership, culture, and “no egos” mentality. She is still mildly in shock that they hired her despite being “a cat person”.

Emilie grew up in east-central Illinois where she attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and earned her bachelor’s degree in Advertising.

Her career began in the radio industry, where she cut her teeth developing marketing plans for small businesses, writing effective commercials, growing a successful book of business, and even completing a short stint as a DJ!

Emilie has held several marketing leadership positions in the Health and Wellness, Financial Services, and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) industries.

Prior to joining Monument, Emilie served as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for Synthesis Technology, where she was integral to the acquisition of the company by Blue Horizon Software Holdings. Emilie subsequently accepted the position as CMO for Blue Horizon, where she helped them acquire and grow fintech companies through private equity investment and strategic marketing. In 2022, she was awarded Fund Intelligence’s Rising Star Award for the asset management industry.

Emilie is most fascinated by the emotional and behavioral aspects of investing. With the help of the team at Monument, she aspires to create valuable content that helps clients remove the noise and get clear on their path to wealth and fulfillment.

In her free time, Emilie enjoys spending time with her husband, two kids, and two cats. She is a Stevie Nicks fanatic, nature lover, health nut, and yoga and meditation practitioner. She believes that all energy flows from our thoughts and that each of us has the power to create the life we want without limits!
