For 25 years, the Companies As Responsive Employers (CARE) Awards, presented by Northern Virginia Family Service (NVFS), have provided insight into employees and programs, offered a forum for innovative thinking and driven strategic changes in the workplace. For the second year in a row, Monument Wealth Management will be honored as a responsive employer and great place to work for its outstanding employee engagement and culture, progressive family-friendly policies and deep community impact.
The Monument Wealth Management Partners and Team have created a work environment that allows them to truly “CARE” for their clients, co-workers, families and neighbors. “I was originally drawn to Monument because of its team-centric culture and the work-life balance afforded by the flexibility and generosity of our co-founders,” states Financial Planning Associate, Emily Harper. Brand Manager, Brittany Dewberry greatly values the passion that the Team has for community service and giving back. She explains that “at Monument, we support our community in all different ways, from sponsoring galas and charity events to hosting free online sports brackets for which the winners choose a charity to receive a Monument donation. Around the holidays, we participate in programs like Adopt-A-Family and Toys for Tots, and each Team Member gets to select a charity to receive a donation from Monument. We even get to take time off work for volunteer projects that are important to us. CARE Award winners are selected based on their performance in the categories of flexible work arrangements, dependent care, work/family stress management, and benefits and community involvement.

Awards will be presented at the 25th Annual CARE Awards Breakfast, held Friday, November 17, 2017, at the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner. To commemorate this anniversary year, NVFS has a special panel of industry leaders to inspire business and workplace evolution in the years ahead.
