Greater Washington D.C. Best Places to WorkWASHINGTON, D.C. (April 22, 2015) – For the third year in a row, Monument Wealth Management is proud to join the rankings of the top 25 small businesses in the greater Washington D.C. area, as rated by the Washington Business Journal!  This year, Monument has been ranked number seven!

Each year, the Washington Business Journal distributes surveys to all employees of a company and carefully tallies up the results.  The winners are those who show high levels of job satisfaction through spirit and unique company benefits.

Just a few benefits that are specific to Monument Wealth Management are a shared Purpose, Mission and Vision statement on which the whole team collaborated, “custom” benefits that are tailored to fit each employee’s wants and needs, an atmosphere full of natural light, an open floor plan where employees enjoy both joking around and working on projects together, and employee empowerment to take on challenging projects and further their education.

A few ways employees have continued their education with the help of Monument include attending top industry conferences and workshops to delve into the details of a variety of investment funds, hear the latest economic updates from well-known industry leaders, learn about best practices in client service, and learn about the latest technology that can streamline processes and improve the client experience.  Employees have even grown by completing extensive courses to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, Certified Private Wealth Advisor®, registered associate, and more.

Along with Monument’s feature in the Washington Business Journal’s “Best Places to Work” rankings from 2013, 2014 and now 2015, Monument was also featured in Research Magazine’s 2012 article, “A Cool Place to Work: How Advisory Firms Are Attracting, Retaining Top Employees,” and Co-Founder David B. Armstrong has presented annually at the past three Barron’s Top Team’s Conference for the nation’s top advisors teams on how to build an ideal corporate culture.
