Monument Wealth Management’s Dean J. Catino receives Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®) Designation
WASHINGTON, Aug. 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Monument Wealth Management, a financial advisory firm that helps accomplished entrepreneurs transition to a life of long-term financial independence, announced today that President and Co-Founder Dean J. Catino received a new designation as Certified Private Wealth Advisors® (CPWA®) after completing an intense educational program and exam through the Investment Management Consultants Association and The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. This certification is in addition to the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and Certified Retirement Planning Counselor® designations that he currently holds.
The CPWA® program is administered by the Investment Management Consultants Association as an “advanced credential created specifically for wealth managers who work with [high-net-worth] clients, focusing on life cycle of wealth: accumulation, preservation, and distribution,” through which advisors “learn to identify and analyze challenges high-net-worth individuals face, and understand how to develop specific strategies to minimize taxes, monetize and protect assets, maximize growth, and transfer wealth.”
Catino explains that “The CPWA® program is the perfect complement to the CFP® designation as it broadens the core competencies of sophisticated wealth management that our clients expect. I am confident that training I received at the Booth School of Business in the areas of estate, tax and investment will bring significant value to the clients of Monument Wealth Management.”
