Northern Virginia Family Service (NVFS) selects Monument Wealth Management as a leader in family-friendly policies, employee engagement and community impact to receive its Companies As Responsive Employers (CARE) Awards.

For 24 years, the Companies As Responsive Employers (CARE) Awards, presented by Northern Virginia Family Service (NVFS), have provided insight into employees and programs, offered a forum for innovative thinking and driven strategic changes in the workplace. This year, Monument Wealth Management will be honored as a responsive employer for its outstanding employee engagement and culture, progressive family-friendly policies and deep community impact.

Monument Client Service and FamilyDetails about the award can be found on the NVFS website.

Monument’s culture is centered on teamwork, encouraging open communication, collaboration, and innovation. The company has strong family values and policies providing employees flexible schedules and benefits that are custom fit to each employee’s preferences and needs. The Monument Team cares about the community, and offers a variety of opportunities to give back, including holiday donations to each employee’s charity of choice and donations made in the name of our clients who win our online NFL and NBA bracket competitions. Monument also supports and sponsors local charity organizations, with a special focus on helping veterans and families in the community.

As Monument’s Senior Financial Planner and a mother of four, Ann Schnorrenberg is “pleased to be part of a company which believes in putting family first in order to better our community and all our lives.” Ann notes that “Monument has provided the flexibility and understanding needed to allow [her] to maintain constant involvement in her family’s needs and activities.”

CARE Award winners are selected based on their performance in the categories of flexible work arrangements, dependent care, work/family stress management, and benefits and community involvement.

Monument Asset Management and Family“CARE Award winners understand the true value of their employees, and take great strides to nurture and develop them through their policies, their culture and their overall business practices,” shares Stephanie Berkowitz, president and CEO at Northern Virginia Family Service. “The end result is not only creating a great place to work, but a community that fosters growth from the inside out. We continue to be impressed by the innovation and passion showcased by these business leaders for their employees, their company and their local community.”

Awards will be presented to these companies at the 24th Annual CARE Awards Breakfast, held this year on Friday, Nov. 18, at the Falls Church Marriott Fairview Park.
